That’s all for our live coverage of US election night, but we’ll be back with more updates and analysis later.

If you’re just checking in, here’s a recap of tonight’s highlights.

Donald Trump fried french fries and gave orders to McDonald’s customers in Pennsylvania, admitting: “This is not a normal situation.”

He repeated unsubstantiated claims that Kamala Harris lied when she said she once worked at the division.

“It’s fun, I could do it all day. I like this job,” he added.

Stevie Wonder sang “Happy Birthday” to Kamala Harris while introducing her to supporters in Georgia.

On stage, she said that the “other side” constantly criticizes and humiliates people, but they “have the power” to decide what country they want to live in.

Kamala Harris later responded to Donald Trump for calling her a “shitty vice president” last night at a rally in Pennsylvania.

She said her opponent was “demeaning the office” of president.

“Donald Trump should never again stand behind the seal of the President of the United States, he does not deserve it and that is why he will lose.”

Meanwhile, Elon Musk handed a $1 million check to a spectator in Pennsylvania who signed his online petition, promising to distribute the amount every day to signatories in swing states until the November election.

The petition allows Musk’s pro-Trump campaign group America PAC to collect contact information for more potential voters to reach the former president’s polling places.

Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro said the gifts were “deeply disturbing” and “something law enforcement can look into.”

Election law experts pointed to various provisions of federal law that prohibit cash payments to voters.
