Former Republican Congresswoman Liz Cheney has responded to comments made by Donald Trump about her, calling him a “petty, vindictive, cruel, unstable man who wants to be a tyrant.”

Trump was disparaging about former Vice President Dick Cheney and his daughter at an event in Arizona yesterday. Both are staunch Trump critics and have endorsed Kamala Harris.

Trump said, “I don’t blame (Dick Cheney) for staying with his daughter, but (Liz Cheney) is a very stupid individual, very stupid. She is a radical war hawk.

“Let’s put her there with a gun, with nine barrels shooting at her… Let’s see how she feels about it, you know, when the guns are pointed at her face.

“You know they’re all war hawks when they sit in a nice building in Washington and say, ‘Oh, gee, let’s send ten thousand troops straight into the enemy’s mouth.’ But she’s a stupid person.”
