The Jets finally snapped their five-game losing streak on Thursday night thanks to a second-half rally that led them to a 21-13 victory over the Houston Texans.
It was a much-needed win for the Jets, who started the year with sky-high expectations and now improve to 3-6 in Week 9.

After the game, Al Michaels spoke on the Amazon Prime broadcast about quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ performance.
“I mean, Aaron is really smart,” he said via Terrible announcement. “It’s clear that whatever you think of him, he’s a polarizing figure. We know that. But he is a very well-read man, very smart and very persuasive. We sit there and say, ‘Wait a minute, they can’t run the table.’ And then he makes you think it’s possible.”
In the first half of Thursday’s win, Rodgers was 7 of 14 for 32 yards and no touchdowns. There were some boos for the Jets as they headed to the locker room for halftime.
“I was terrible,” Rodgers said.
But in the second half, Garrett Wilson recorded two one-handed touchdown catches and Rodgers connected with Davante Adams for the receiver’s first touchdown as a Jet.
The Jets now get a 10-day break before facing the Cardinals in Arizona in Week 10.
