SAN ANTONIO – A former licensed counselor in San Antonio has been sentenced to almost thirty years in prison for sexually exploiting children.
Adrian Scott Warren, 47, was charged with sexual exploitation of a child and one count of possession of child pornography. He pleaded guilty to the first charge and was sentenced to 28 years in prison.
Warren will also be on lifelong supervised release after his prison sentence. He was also ordered to pay $140,840 to the victim at the center of the sexual exploitation charge, and $100,000 to twenty additional victims, whose images Warren possessed.
According to court documents, Warren sent a private message via a dating app to an undercover FBI profile. That conversation switched to a messenger app where he stated he was interested in ‘young’.

Warren also said he had had sexual contact with a child since he was seven. He also told the undercover officer that he wanted to meet up to engage in sexual activity and view child sexual abuse material (CSAM). He also offered to take the victim to the meeting, court documents show.
In August 2022, Warren traveled to a hotel where he thought he would meet a nine-year-old and engage in sexual activity. He was met by FBI agents at the hotel and his cell phone was confiscated, according to court documents.
In an interview with a CPS special investigator, Warren identified the victim and admitted to sexually abusing the child, according to court documents. He also admitted to possessing CSAM, which depicts several children between the ages of 0 and 17 engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
