The smoke shop in Solon was broken into for the second time in 15 days, possibly by the same suspects

SOLON, Ohio – A local smoke shop fell victim to a costly burglary for the second time in just 15 days.

At 3:25 a.m. on Nov. 4, a police officer on patrol noticed a broken window on the door of the Smokology business, 33650 Aurora Road. There was no one in the store.

Police deployed a K-9, but suspects could not be located.

The owners were contacted and came to the store. It was stated that approximately $6,800 worth of smoking products, hemp and CBD items were stolen.

Surveillance footage showed the burglary occurred just five minutes before the officer noticed the broken glass.

The video also showed three suspects wearing hooded sweatshirts and face coverings and carrying backpacks.

The store was also on October 24th the victim of a burglary in which $5,500 worth of products were stolen.

In that case, the video also showed three men in the store committing the crime. Broken windows of the front door were also used to gain entry.

Detectives are investigating.
