Suspects wanted for multiple motorcycle robberies in New York

BRONX, NY – Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects linked to a series of violent daytime robberies in the Bronx in which victims were assaulted and robbed of valuable jewelry. The incidents, all involving two men on a motorcycle, occurred at various locations within the 41st, 44th and 49th precincts between October 8 and October 22, 2024.

The first reported robbery occurred on October 8 around 2 p.m. in front of the 1500 Grand Concourse. A 54-year-old man was approached by two individuals on a motorcycle, who repeatedly punched him in the head and face before stealing two chains and a bracelet worth approximately $6,350. The suspects then fled on motorcycles. The victim suffered minor injuries but refused medical treatment.

On October 18, three similar incidents were reported within a short period of time. Around 11:17 a.m., a 38-year-old man was approached in front of 1201 Randall Avenue by two men on a motorcycle brandishing a firearm. One of the suspects hit the victim in the head with the gun before taking his chain and rings, which had an estimated value of $6,600. The suspects fled again on a motorcycle, leaving the victim slightly injured.

Shortly thereafter, at approximately 11:30 a.m., a 31-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint in front of 1050 River Avenue. The suspects took his chain, valued at approximately $3,300, before fleeing eastbound on East 165th Street. No injuries were reported in this incident.

A third robbery on Oct. 18 occurred around 11:45 a.m. in front of 2024 Williamsbridge Road. In this case, the suspects hit a 48-year-old man in the head with a firearm and took a necklace worth approximately $3,000. The victim refused medical attention after suffering minor injuries.

Two more robberies took place on October 22. Around 11 a.m., a 17-year-old boy was confronted by the suspects in front of 76 East 167th Street. The attackers forcibly removed two chains worth approximately $2,500 and fired a firearm during the ensuing scuffle, although no one was injured. The suspects then fled eastbound on 167th Street.

The latest incident was reported around 12:20 a.m. that day near 1055 Summit Avenue. A 36-year-old man was robbed of a necklace and bracelet worth approximately $4,000. The suspects, who again used a firearm to threaten the victim, fled westbound on West 165th Street. No injuries have been reported.

The two suspects are described as medium-skinned men, both last seen wearing all black. The motorcyclist was observed wearing white sneakers.
