The recent one arrest of Sean “Diddy” Combs allegations of sex trafficking and extortion, among other things, have sent shockwaves through the entertainment world. Not only was Diddy a big star in his own right, but he also regularly mixed up with other big stars, including, as it turns out, Taylor Swiftwho thought Diddy was a really nice guy, at least a few years ago.
A more than ten-year-old clip of Taylor Swift is now going viral. It’s from a performance from 2011 The Racheal Ray Show in which Swift is asked who her dream prom date would be, including the now-incarcerated mogul.

The 2011 episode of The Rachael Ray Show featured a then 21-year-old Taylor Swift and a segment called “Swift Decisions”, in which the host would ask Taylor various questions and the singer would choose the most appropriate celebrity to match the answer. Swift says she would get Diddy involved because “he’d be fun” and he’s “always been really nice to me.” Ray calls the star ‘A Gentleman’. Needless to say, such comments haven’t aged too well, and fans are reacting to the clip as you’d expect.

The fact that Diddy was part of Taylor Swift’s prom group, which included JLO, Katya Perryand Sheryl Crow, have not gone unnoticed by fans. Sure, no one blames Taylor for not knowing where things would go next thirteen years later, but that doesn’t make it any less shocking to hear such nice things about a man who accused of some pretty terrible things. Swift is certainly not the only star who was linked to Diddy before his arrest. The rapper and mogul was known for hosting star-studded parties over the years where some of the biggest names in the world were in attendance. Few celebrities are talking now about their relationship with Diddy.
While Diddy may have been nice to Taylor in 2011, the accusations against him today are anything but pleasant. Diddy is accused of organizing parties where women were forced to engage in sexual activity.
