West Midlands Police have launched an investigation following a fire at a stable and outbuilding in Queens Road, Sedgley, which broke out at around 1am on Tuesday.

The fire brigade crew managed to deal with the flame and finally extinguish it, but the fire spread to 80 percent of the building, two horses died as a result of the flames, and a third one was saved.

Police have now launched an investigation into the fire, with detectives treating it as arson, and a public appeal for help has been issued.
